I just looked at the sec.gov filing form supplemental to form 10-k called the "proxy statement". This venture brought me to an astounding discovery. The ceo of my company received in 2006 a complete compensation package of over $17 million. Too bad we don't get a free company party like all the other corporations out there on the gounds that it's wasteful spending.

I think the ratio of compensation of senior executives in a company to the average worker's compensation is something like 300 to 1. Disgusting, I know. And thievery, if you ask me, just like the government. But no worries, at least they don't get to deduct senior executive compensation expense over $1 million for tax purposes. There is some hope.
And, you pretty much nailed my situation on the head, if you get my drift.
